Risk Intelligence

Indicators expose the present.
They do not predict the future.

There is a comfortable assumption that a risk model can forecast a crisis. The Practice’s indicators do not. A leading indicator does not predict an event; it tells you that an assumption your decision rests on has stopped holding. The Practice designs indicators so your leadership executes on a fact, rather than reacting to a surprise. It does not promise a flawless outcome.

An indicator tells you where you stand. It does not tell you what comes next.

Where the indicator stops
The causeAn indicator shows the assumption that failed, such as media income falling below what your revenue-share commitment requires. It does not tell you why it failed or who is responsible. That is the work of the leader you named.
The timingA mapped threshold tells you the assumption has stopped holding, as of the last reading. It does not forecast when a regulator or the market will respond.
The guaranteeNo framework removes friction. A mapped indicator means that when friction arrives, your leadership is executing a predetermined response instead of managing a public surprise.
